Community rules & guidelines

1. Respect and Inclusivity

Respect for All: Treat every member with kindness, empathy, and respect, regardless of their background, beliefs, or opinions.

No Discrimination: Any form of hate speech, discrimination, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or other forms of bigotry is strictly prohibited.

Privacy: Protect your privacy and the privacy of others. Do not share personal information without consent.

2. Communication and Conduct

Civility: Engage in civil, constructive discussions. Avoid personal attacks, insults, or aggressive behavior.

Professional Language: Use appropriate and professional language in all interactions. Refrain from vulgar, obscene, or offensive language.

No Trolling or Baiting: Avoid provoking, harassing, or disrupting discussions. Maintain a supportive and engaging environment.

3. Content and Participation

Relevance: Keep contributions relevant to the community’s focus. Off-topic posts may be moderated to maintain coherence.

No Spam: Avoid posting irrelevant content or excessive self-promotion. Ensure your contributions add value.

Content Guidelines: Adhere to specific content rules, especially regarding sensitive topics, explicit content, or copyrighted material.

4. Integrity and Accountability

Intellectual Property: Respect copyright laws and intellectual property. Always credit original creators.

Reporting and Moderation: Report any rule violations to moderators. Respect their decisions and provide feedback constructively.

Single Account Policy: Each member should use only one account to maintain transparency and trust.

5. Safety and Well-being

Community Safety: Do not engage in behavior that endangers the safety or well-being of others. This includes avoiding threats, harassment, and promoting harmful behaviors.

Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to community enhancement by suggesting improvements, providing feedback, and participating in initiatives.

6. Strict Non-Solicitation

Prohibition of Solicitation: Members are strictly prohibited from soliciting others for business or sales purposes within the community. This includes, but is not limited to, advertising products, services, or events not officially endorsed by the VJAL Institute. Any attempt to solicit private business or promote external interests disrupts the focus and integrity of our community and will be subject to immediate moderation.

7. Respect for Authority

Moderator Respect: Respect the decisions of community moderators. If you disagree, engage respectfully and constructively.
