What Your Child Can Do
VJAL’s Summer AI Camp gives students aged 10 to 17 a practical, hands-on introduction to the world of artificial intelligence. Across four weeks, students move from understanding how AI works to using it creatively, responsibly, and confidently. They train their own AI model, build a personalized AI character or specialist, create a 30-second AI movie, and finally develop their own AI assistant plus an AI-powered app, game, chatbot, or tool. The August cohort is designed for a mixed age group with two levels built into every activity. Younger students follow clear, guided, step-by-step tasks, while older or faster-moving students receive stretch challenges that allow them to go deeper, improve outputs, and build more advanced projects. Every week includes responsible AI learning, including how to verify AI answers, protect personal information, understand bias, avoid harmful use, and use AI safely.

Students begin by understanding how AI actually works, not just how to use it. They explore the basics of machine learning, train their own model, and start building real AI fluency through hands-on practice.

By Week 2, students learn stronger prompting techniques to get better results from AI. They then build their own personalized AI character or specialist for studying, writing, planning, creativity, hobbies, or problem-solving.

Images, Video, Music, Voice, and Storytelling
By Week 3, students learn to direct AI like a creative production tool. They transform ideas into images, video, music, voice, and storytelling, then create a 30-second AI movie or multimedia piece they can present as a portfolio-ready project.

Start from absolute zero. Week 1 is designed as a foundation- by Day 3, they’re training their own AI model. No prior coding, tech, or AI knowledge is assumed or required.
Every week is fully self-contained and independently valuable. Book one or all four- entirely your choice. Families who complete all four consistently report the biggest transformation, because the skills build progressively. By Week 4, students are genuinely building complete AI tools from scratch.
Using ChatGPT and understanding AI are two completely different things. Most regular users don’t know what an LLM is, how to train a model, what professional-level prompting involves, or how to build apps with AI. By Day 3 of Week 1, your child will have trained their own model end-to-end. That’s not basic.
Yes, students must bring their own laptop. A full pre-arrival checklist will be shared with registered families before the program.
Every student who completes the program receives the VJAL Global AI Certificate- issued by VJAL Training Centre and globally recognised. It reflects genuine AI skills earned through real project work, not just attendance. It carries real weight on school portfolios and university applications.
Responsible AI is built into every week- not a one-off module. Students learn what to share and what never to share with AI platforms, how to verify AI output, and how to recognise bias in AI systems. Many parents tell us this is the piece they value most from the entire program.
