My thoughts on AI
Never would have taken an AI course till my boss said it's important. AI potential is limitless but the human mind is limiting. We tend to put boundaries and fence in our potentials. I approached AI with a blend of curiosity yet foresight. Knowing the constant changing dynamics in organisations and how technological advancements can be dynamic and transformative, AI is not just as a tool but as a catalyst for Growth and Innovation. In my part of the world - China and Hong Kong - where OpenAI is not freely accessible, I would need to work around these limitations. AI represents an exciting frontier in the future of work and personal/organisational development. As an internal trainer, I envision using it in my organisation and am excited to see AI in my business landscape. Within my organisation, I hope to be the spark needed to excite, cajole and provide the knock-on effect to transform the Culture within. AI would eliminate menial work yet complement capabilities in automating routine tasks to free up time for more meaningful, creative endeavors. My perspective is that AI goes beyond professional applications. I do think that ethical considerations and societal impact would keep me to stay updated for AI adoption. In my coaching practice, I encourage clients to embrace technological advancements while maintaining a human-centric approach, emphasizing the irreplaceable value of empathy, emotional intelligence, and genuine human connection.
