Priyank Garg

I come with a background in CS, with a B.Tech from IIT Delhi and an MS from Stanford in the field. After starting in consulting at Deloitte, my career's first decade was in the field of technology in Silicon Valley where I first brought earlier versions of AI, called Machine Learning (ML) to customers. For my next decade+, I was operating a manufacturing business making Engineered Products for Critical applications out of India. During this period I have been granted 9 global patents for inventions in both software and mechanical products. All this while I was investing as an Angel Investor since 2007, particularly in tech businesses. In 2023, I became a professional VC investing in early stage startups out of India focused on tech, with particular interest in CleanTech and DeepTech. Having worked in 2 opposite ends of the planet and 2 entirely different industries, I find I can bring a unique perspective combining my exposure to product development, sales, organization development, finance, management, strategy and even legal across - technology & manufacturing, practiced in US & India - to shape my thinking. I continue to work with my Alma Mater, IIT Delhi, to develop the Entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus.
